Christie Keith is a communications and media consultant with an exclusive focus on animal welfare and veterinary medicine.

She is the past director of The Pet Care Forum on America Online as well as of the Veterinary Information Network's pet owner website, and was founding editor of VeterinaryPartner.com.

Christie has spoken on marketing, PR, and traditional and new media at a number of animal sheltering conferences including the National No-Kill Conference, Best Friends' No More Homeless Pets, and HSUS Animal Care Expo.

Originally from San Francisco, Christie currently lives in Michigan with Greyhounds Stella and Menolly, and her Silken Windhound Tim. She is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Scottish Deerhound Club of America, past President of the Northern California Deerhound Club, past Vice-President of the Golden State Deerhound Club, and a member of the Fear FreeSM Veterinary Advisory Board.

Christie currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Michigan Pet Fund Alliance, working to save all the healthy and treatable homeless pets of Michigan.
